You’ve got the vision and skill. We’ve got the resources.

Brewery Igniter isn’t an incubator. It’s a serious facility designed for serious beer artisans with a vision, who know how to brew and have a solid plan to launch a brewery business. Benefits member brewers can enjoy include:

  • All of the equipment and space needed to launch a microbrewery, reducing startup cost and risk and expediting the path to profitability.
  • Short, flexible lease terms
  • The option to pay initial bills by selling product at onsite tasting rooms. In addition to a full brew house, all Brewery Igniter units come with a tasting room, bar, and plenty of space for thirsty customers.
  • Quick-start brewing – as soon as brewers have their ABC license, they can begin crafting.
  • The ability to sell products in months, not years. In a traditional startup setting, it would take at least nine months (usually much longer) and $500,000 to lease a space, purchase and install equipment and obtain all licenses before selling a single pint.
  • Brewery Igniter buzz in the community
  • Multiple locations
    • Miramar
    • North Park
    • Oceanside

Three Locations, Five Breweries

Craft by Brewery Igniter – Seek Beer, GOAL. Brewing, Barley & Sword

Located in the heart of North Park’s craft beer scene at 3052 El Cajon Boulevard, CRAFT by Brewery Igniter is home to three exciting brewers! Capitalizing on the neighborhood’s appeal as a craft beer destination, each suite at CRAFT comes with approximately 2,000 square feet of space, a 10-barrel brew house, tap room, and everything needed to successfully launch a craft brewing business.

Seek Beer Co. brings its Southern roots to Southern California, with a steady stream of rotating beer releases in a wide range of styles, always offering something new to taste. Seek’s brewers embrace an attitude of “Seek adventure, seek memories, seek the things that make you happy.”

GOAL. Brewing is led by an award-winning brewer with San Diego roots. He returns home to focus on crafting easy-drinking beers meant to be enjoyed in a social setting.  GOAL’s motto (and what the letters stand for) is Get Out And Live.

Barley & Sword Brewing Company honors the history of beermaking, offering a variety of styles for the modern beer consumer while also introducing classic styles not typically found in San Diego. Their mission is to “keep our craft simple, our beer traditional, and our customer experience comfortable and enriching.”

Brewery Igniter Miramar – Kové Hard Yerba Mate

Kové Hard Yerba Mate has moved into Brewery Igniter’s original turnkey brewing facility, and is the world’s first hard yerba mate company.  Kové produces an organic, gluten free and vegan twist on the classic South American beverage, and takes pride in providing a “healthier for you” choice when it comes to alcoholic beverages.

Our previous tenants experienced enough growth in this space that they were able to expand into multiple locations within just a few years. Pure Project, our first Brewery Igniter tenant, continues to operate from their original facility next door to Kové.

Brewery Igniter Oceanside – South O Brewing Company

The newest Brewery Igniter location brings opportunity to the craft beer-loving community of Oceanside. Our North County location is positioned on the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, just blocks from the beach.

South O Brewing Company was founded by local home brewers as a passion project during the 2020 pandemic. With a name that celebrates their beloved community, South O’s first venture into commercial brewing aims to provide something for neighbors to enjoy and support with pride.
